GENERAL FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the Sports Director, the Youth Sports Official is responsible for officiating at games according to league rules and YMCA guidelines, and/or keeps score, clocks and statistics. This position must perform program responsibilities in accordance with the policies, goals, mission, values and objectives established by the Metropolitan Atlanta YMCA.
KNOW HOW:
1. Current state approved first aid certification preferred.
2. Current state approved CPR/AED certification required within six months.
3. Up-to-date knowledge of YMCA guidelines and rules designated for the league.
4. Experience in refereeing preferred.
5. High degree of Human Relations and Conflict Management skills
6. Ability to tactfully enforce rules and regulations.
7. Knowledge of safety issues related to sport and facility and grounds.
8. Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
9. Pass the State of Georgia criminal background check.
Essential Functions:
1. Officiates and/or scores at games.
2. Puts all equipment away after games and reports equipment problems.
3. Attends staff meetings and required training.
4. May record wins and losses.
5. Inspect fields and goals
6. Responsible for maintaining/reporting accurate incident and accident forms.
ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENTS:
Cardio Fitness level to maintain the speed and agility to officiate program participants from age 4 through adults.

Hours: Part-time, non-exempt

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
