Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Interconnectivity Product Manager to work within our Product Development and Marketing departments. This individual will participate as a key team member in our fast-paced and rapidly growing company as we develop new products to meet the needs of the industry we serve. The qualified individual will be responsible for defining product strategy and go-to-market plans for new Interconnectivity and Interoperability solutions. Deep expertise with Interconnectivity products and sound product management methodologies are required to meet the needs of this rapidly evolving market.
Responsibilities
The Interconnectivity Product Manager at organizes and leads others, facilitates many different meetings with various stakeholders, touches many key internal players on a regular basis, builds relationships and rapport to be able to learn from existing customers, and creates a variety of documents and tools (business plans, RFPs, financial analysis plans, etc) using their past software integration and interconnectivity experiences as a guide.
Prepare market and product requirement documents that clearly articulate the interconnectivity opportunities and functional requirements for this next generation of products.
Build internal and external interaction processes and programs that provide a structured and measurable methodology by which the company will incorporate broad customer and partner feedback into the product design process.
Define and manage the complete lifecycle of the company's interconnectivity software solutions, while working closely with development and professional services teams to determine the role and manner in which the company embraces the product.
Conduct competitive analysis and regularly presents relevant findings to the
executive
and sales teams.
Work closely with marketing team to properly
position
and evangelize the interconnectivity solutions.
Help the company move toward a more whole product mentality by building processes and materials that help ensure the proper education of our sales team, customers and partners during product changes or launches.
Implement product profitability metrics that help the company determine the proper allocation of engineering and sales resources to maximize profitability and opportunity.
Support the company's efforts to build a strong partner ecosystem that involves both technology and market partners; helping the organization determine when to buy, build or partner for product enhancements.
Articulate core value proposition and competitive advantage to the market by working with marketing to build compelling sales materials, training courses, and market presentations that properly position the products.
Qualifications
Interconnectivity experience as a product management or in a similar capacity within a SaaS company. The ideal candidate has a combination of technical, marketing, and analytical experiences.
Prior experience working with HL7, web services and/or Health Information Exchanges interfaces.
Experience in taking new applications to market, and defining/delivering software solutions.
Proven ability to successfully manage the life cycle of evolving software solutions.
Skilled at creating product requirement documents and communicating effectively with developers, QA, technical writers, etc
Ability to align product direction with company revenue goals.
Exceptional project management, organizational, communication and presentation skills must be demonstrated.
Solid interpersonal skills required to facilitate positive working relationships with customers and business partners, the software engineering sales and implementation teams.
Degree in
computer
Science, MIS, or related
Must be able to work in our metro-Atlanta area office.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an Agile development environment would be beneficial.
Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software would be helpful.
