Responsibilities:
Define RFQ's, verify quotes, negotiate, issue PO's, expedite Take responsibility for overall supplier performance related to quality, cost and delivery.
Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Implement Group frame contracts for local sourcing.
Participate in project meetings and provide status reports.
Understand Engineering drawings (from a procurement perspective) for custom automation machines.
Meet regularly with Engineering department to communicate parts design requirements with suppliers, ensuring that quality and cost targets are met.
Interact with Accounting department regularly to review invoices and ensure correct vendor's contractual agreements.
Qualifications/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.
S.
) Experience in reading drawings for materials, tolerances, and other relevant data (from a procurement perspective) Purchasing experience including RFQ, T&C, negotiation Ideal candidate will have background experience with automated machinery Proficient with MS Office Familiar with ERP systems (e.
g.
SAP) Strong negotiation and communication skills Job Type:
