Responsible for reviewing the patient demographic information in the practice management system for accuracy and provide feedback to the other office staff.
Responsible for confirming and updating, if needed, patient demographics and insurance information for accuracy.
Responsible for providing coverage for the Front Desk, to ensure efficient and professional practice operations and maximum patient satisfaction.
This position requires a comprehensive understanding of office management in a healthcare setting.
This position requires strong working knowledge of managed care plans, insurance carriers, referrals and precertification procedures.
Also requires a strong working knowledge of Medical Records, Insurance Plans, Managed Care and documentation guideline.
Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills are essential to this position.
This position requires an ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a high pace environment.
Also required are general computer skills, typing skills and a working knowledge of Medicare Compliance, OSHA and HIPAA.
