The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's operations, with a focus on data center, infrastructure, devices, managed IT services, and general project services.
This pivotal role will involve leading and coordinating the services and sales operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
The Director of Operations will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical, and administrative departments.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Collaborate with the executive team to establish performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the operations department.
Identify opportunities for growth, cost optimization, and process improvement.
Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Manage and coordinate projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize pricing and service levels.
Sales Operations:
Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies and processes for achieving sales targets.
Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment in lead generation, opportunity management, and customer acquisition efforts.
Analyze sales data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing operations team, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet business demands.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement professional development plans for team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
A master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the IT services or technology industry.
Strong understanding of data center operations, infrastructure management, and managed IT services.
Demonstrated experience in managing sales operations and collaborating with sales teams.
Proficiency in analyzing operational data and using metrics to drive decision-making.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to):
$80,000.
00 - $100,000.
