Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs procedures for physical hygiene and comfort of patients.
Performs duties with the construct of a unit-based, self-directed patient care team while sharing various tasks with other licensed and non-licensed members.
In Special Care Nurseries, the Patient Care Technician is responsible for assisting with the transport of healthy, uncompromised newborns from Labor and Delivery to the newborn admission nursery, cleaning equipment used on infants in the Special Care Nursery, and ordering patient care supplies from the storeroom and stocking the Special Care Nursery areas.
REQUIRED:
1.

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant course, and be listed as a CNA on the Georgia Registry OR b.
Graduate of a U.
S.
Military Medic course OR c.
Enrolled in a School of Nursing and has completed one (1) full semester of clinical rotations OR d.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Medical Degree program 2.
Current BLS card (CPR).
PREFERRED:
Six (6) months' patient care experience in a hospital or acute care setting.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
