THIS IS NOT A FULL-TIME POSITION-This is a freelance position with assignments available within flexible business hours, Monday through Friday on an as-needed basis.
Duties:
Provide interpreting services as an independent contractor in medical and legal and educational venues.
Perform in accordance with the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC) Code of Ethics and HIPAA regulations.
Perform interpreting duties in a professional manner.
Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
Must demonstrate fluency in English and a 2nd language.
Must have flexibility to accept assignments during weekdays and business hours.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Pass a written test over the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
Able to comply with credentialing requirements for independent contractors working in healthcare facilities.
Able to pass language proficiency in both languages.
Certificate of training - BRIDGING THE GAP Certificate or equivalent training course - (preferred) Must be punctual and responsible.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
