OEM Automotive Technician - Light Mechanical
DescriptionThe OEM Automotive Technician for Dent Wizard is a full-time, hourly position, designed to assist with a variety of tasks to ensure our customer vehicles arriving through the city port and rail yard will be delivered in a safe and timely manner and also provide additional support to the market through maintenance of equipment, delivery of supplies, and other miscellaneous tasks.
The OEM Automotive Technician will complete tasks as assigned while establishing and maintaining clear communications with the management team to provide a consistent, superior level of customer service.
Job ResponsibilitiesoTransfer vehicles in a courteous and professional manner.
oAssess vehicle condition and notify manager of any issues.
oTest, recharge, replace vehicle batteries as needed.
oTake photos of tire damage and submit with claim in accordance with customer process.
oTransport equipment/supplies between work sites.
oMaintenance of work site equipment, including but not limited to generators and compressors.
oMay be asked to perform additional miscellaneous job-related duties.
oMaintain regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
QualificationsoMust be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
oMust be able to pass a background check sanctioned by the US Federal Government.
oStrong communication and interaction skills required.
oAbility to pay attention to detail and stay organized on the job.
oPrevious experience working outdoors and handling tools preferred.
Physical RequirementsRegularly required to stand and walk.
Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
Ability to lift up to 90lbs.
on occasion.
Must have manual dexterity and ability to regularly perform repetitive motion tasks.
Able to tolerate moderate to loud level of noise.
May experience exposure to toxic chemicals.
Protective equipment such as gloves, eyewear, and heavy lifting support may be required.
Must be capable of performing duties outdoors, in all elements of the weather.
