Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Specialist is to maintain inventory levels, control costs, and identify ways to improve warehouse operations.
The individual will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping products and supplies.
This position requires a highly organized individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
This position requires experience in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming and outgoing shipments Organize warehouse space and maintain inventory of materials and equipment Maintain safe working conditions by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Keep the warehouse clean Identify opportunities to improve warehouse operations Participate in regular audits to ensure that warehouse operations meet standards and regulations Perform inventory counts on a regular basis to ensure that stock levels are within standards Ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner Maintain records of shipment information in a confidential manner Other duties as assigned by manager Required
Experience:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Previous experience working with computers is preferred.
